The Difficulties of Labgirls & Homebrewing
Hello my lovelies. I am your local brewer/owner of Labgirls. For all intents and purposes, you can refer to me as “Wilma”. Here’s a little about myself:
As a transwoman of color, like many of you; I’ve been involved with DIY for a while now, but it has always been frustrating how often issues arise. That’s not to blame the other homebrewers, love them to death.
With that being said – I decided to take matters into my own hands with homebrewing. Due to the turbulent and toxic living situation I am in and the rising costs in the US, it was the only option. And honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the decision to aid myself AND fellow allies. I want to be fully transparent in the fact that I can only test my batches/hormone esters by using them on myself and posting the bloodwork. My levels are a consistent 255-313 PG/ML at a 6-day cycle of .5 of the “peppermint oil ETHANATE”. This has been consulted with a doctor specializing in trans patients. Additionally, I would love to provide Janoshik testing for all of you, but I simply cannot afford it. I understand if this turns most of you away from this store.
That being said, if you would like to assist in securing testing with janoshik & high-end lab safety equipment (such as a laminar flow hood, HEPA Air purifier, etc.) it would be greatly appreciated. It would also help me stick around as your trusted & safe brewer. Anyone who wishes may donate whatever they desire in crypto to help. No amount is too small. Nothing would bring me greater joy to become a brewer you all know and go to when you’re in need. You can find the wallet addresses below:
